A team of Mad Scientists visited Derby Ridge Elementary School Tuesday, Nov. 9. Kids learned about science while making tornadoes in a bottle and slime and enjoying cotton candy and root beer.

Derby Ridge Elementary is having a Barnes & Noble night Friday, Dec. 10, from 6 to 8 p.m.
The Grinch will join kids and parents for hot chocolate, cookies and story time, beginning at 7 p.m. Either Tina Windett, Derby Ridge’s principal, or Kelsey Morris, the assistant principal, will read a holiday favorite, “How the Grinch Stole Christmas.”
A percentage of the sales that night will go to Derby Ridge’s Family-School Partnership.
