She studied Arabic and might travel abroad to Egypt next year to work on mastering the language. Katie loves literature, music and DIY and dabbles in the ukulele. She would like to work in public or community radio after graduation.

Natalie Devlin Natalie Devlin will put her wrist to good use with all of the notes taken and hands shaken as she acquaints herself with the neighborhood. She is double majoring in magazine journalism and international studies and hopes to one day be an international correspondent. Columbia replaced Rockville, Md., as her home a year and a half ago when she moved here to be part of the amazing journalism school. She looks forward to learning from people in the community in addition to the classroom and hopefully contributing something worthwhile to the sea of newsprint floating around town.

Sara Johnson Sara Johnson is a senior seeking her bachelor’s degree in photojournalism with a minor in business. She comes to MU from Dallas and hopes to return there after she graduates in December. She would like to work for either a magazine or a newspaper after graduation and her ultimate dream is to own her own photography studio. She is excited to work on the Parkade neighborhood beat this semester and looks forward to serving the Columbia community.

She is eager to serve the Cherry Hill-Stonecrest-Fairview neighborhood and is always available to lend an ear to the community.
