Members of the Unity Center of Columbia, 1600 W. Broadway, will gather for a night of fellowship and fundraising at the Y.O.U. Annual Talent Show.

The show is open to the public and will feature an Italian dinner of pizza, pasta and salad. Attendees are invited to wear their pajamas and even participate in the show.

“People come up with a lot of different things to do,” said Gary Smith, Unity Center’s office manager. “Musical or dramatic or instrumental talents. Sometimes people read their own original writings – it might be poetry or stories.”

Proceeds from the talent show will go to the Unity Center’s youth ministry program, which takes teenagers to out-of-state rallies each year.

“These rallies are positive environments where kids can go and learn and be with friends,” Smith said.

The show will be held in the Unity Center’s Friendship Hall at 6 p.m. Saturday, March 12. Tickets are $5 for children and $10 for adults.

“It’s half price if you share a talent,” Smith said.
