As part of its centennial celebration this year, Grant Elementary launched the Grant Memories campaign. Families, businesses and other members of the community are invited to purchase bricks that will be engraved and installed in a commemorative area on the school’s playground.

Principal Beverly Borduin issued a special challenge to the school’s alumni:

“Beverly Borduin challenges Grant alumni to purchase a Grant Memories engraved brick for $100. For every brick purchased by an alum, Borduin will contribute $50 of her own money to the brick campaign up to $1,000. The money earned will go into the Achievement Fund for Grant students. This fund pays for opportunities to improve achievement such as academic tutoring, Mentoring Club and special projects.”

The Grant Memories Campaign ends June 1. For more information, see the program’s brochure.
