Shepard trailers are part of the larger problem

The Missourian recently published a story about classroom trailers in the district. Shepard Boulevard Elementary School was not specifically mentioned in the story, but the trailers there are part of the problem.

Principal JoNetta Weaver said the process of eliminating classroom trailers will take a long time for Shepard. There are 12 trailers at Shepard, and about 40 percent of students are taught in them.

Weaver said that to eliminate the trailers, a second level will have to be built on to the school or the district lines will have to be redrawn.
