U.S. Department of Agriculture field office in Parkade Center

Did you know that the Boone County field office of the U.S. Department of Agriculture is in the Parkade Center? The field office is a resource where local farmers can learn about programs and apply for government funding, including funding to put a hoop house on their farm. You can read more about how federal funding for hoop houses is helping to increase the amount of fresh local produce in the Columbia area in a recent article I wrote for the Missourian.
