Columbia enjoys an early taste of Kwanzaa

Kwanzaa is a holiday to honor African-American and Pan-African culture celebrated every year from Dec. 26 to Jan. 1. An early celebration was held at Douglass High School on Saturday, Dec. 4, to educate and raise awareness about the principles, history and practices of Kwanzaa.
