Drivers who want to turn left onto Range Line Street from Rogers Street on Oct. 25 and Oct. 26 will need to find an alternate route due to the temporary closure of the left turn lane.
The closure is due to Columbia Water and Light tying an 8-inch water line on Rogers Street that will be used for fire fighting, according to a news release from the city.
Other traffic through the intersection will not be affected by the maintenance, though motorists are encouraged to drive carefully.
Customers affected will be notified of any disruptions in their water service and may notice a slight discoloration in their water when the main is flushed following the maintenance, according to the news release. Running the water for a few minutes should alleviate this problem.
