Meet Victoria Pine, new teacher at Jefferson Junior High

Meet Victoria Pine, new French teacher at Jefferson Junior High.

 

Victoria Pine grew up in Columbia and is teaching French at Jefferson Junior High for her first year in CPS.

 

Teaching experience: Pine taught for two years at Saint Louis University and for five years at MU. This is Pine’s first year in Columbia Public Schools and eighth year teaching.

Education: Pine has a bachelor’s degree in French from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, a master’s degree in French from Saint Louis University and a doctorate in French from MU.

Hometown: Columbia

Hobbies: Pine enjoys reading, gardening and playing with her children.

Family: Husband Darren Pine, two-year-old son Sam and four-month-old daughter Abigail

Pets: A cat, Selina

Favorite food: Lasagna

Favorite TV shows: “Modern Family” and “Fringe”
