Roots ‘N’ Blues ‘N’ BBQ has attracted barbecue chains from all over the country.

Terry Black, president of Super Smokers Chicken, traveled 100 miles from Eureka with his staff to set up their food stall at the festival.

He said it was a great place to showcase their original BBQ nachos,  pulled pork and chicken. The festival gave Black and his crew the opportunity to get out and touch the public with their products.

“I love the event, “ Black said. “Of course, the weather has made me love it much more.”

Black also said he was a fan of the music at the KOPN Community Stage at Flat Branch Park.

“Every band has been better than before.” Black said. He said he was looking forward to Saturday’s performance by the Bel Airs.
