The seventh annual Hinkson Clean Sweep will be Oct. 16 from 10 a.m. to noon. The event is at multiple sites along Hinkson Creek.

Volunteers are asked to help remove litter in and around the creek to keep trash out of the watershed. All supplies will be provided but volunteers are asked to dress for a wet day outside. All participants are invited to a barbecue after the event.

Volunteers may sign up individually or as a group. There are kid-friendly locations designated for families.
