Columbia College’s International Club and Student Development Office plans to host a lunch showcasing student talent, food and culture from around the globe.
The event will take place from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 28 in Dorsey Gym, located in Dorsey Hall.
The lunch will be free to all 120 participants.
“We will have food from a lot of different countries and students have been scheduled to do all kinds of different performances from the countries they are from,” Director of Student Development Kim Coke said. “It’s one of my favorite events that we do because it gives everybody the opportunity to get to know all of the students and where they’re from.”
Columbia College has a large group of international students, including a number from South Korea and Russia, Coke said.
International Club members meet at 3:00 p.m. every Friday in the CIC Room on the second floor of the Atkins-Holman Student Commons.
