Meet Nicki Victor, new teacher to Jefferson Junior High

Meet Nicki Victor, the new ninth grade health and eighth grade U.S. history teacher at Jefferson Junior High School.

Teaching experience: Slater High School, three years; Fairview, Blue Ridge, Parkade, Derby Ridge and Two Mile Prairie elementary schools, two years.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in physical education and health at Central Methodist University; master’s degree in elementary administration at William Woods University.

Hometown: Mendon, Ill.

Hobbies: Columbia Disc Golf Club for 3 1/2 years (check out CDGC’s recent tournament); going to the gym; Chicago Bears fan.

Family: Married to Brandon Victor.

Pets: Bender, Boston terrier; Leela, part Siamese found during a disc golf game at Indian Hills Park.

Favorite food: Mexican

Favorite TV shows: “Bones”;  “Fringe”; and “House.”
