Columbia College offers Atma Jayam yoga classes from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m Tuesday and Thursday mornings at Froman Studio, located in Dorsey Hall.
Classes are free for faculty, students and staff of Columbia College and are taught by long-time yoga instructor D.H. Parsons, according to Cougarlink.
Parsons created the yoga technique Atma Jayam, or self victory, in the early 1990s.
“I have thrown out all the glitzy moves and focus on what works,” said Parsons, according to the event’s page.
