Neighborhood Leadership Program 2011

Columbia’s Neighborhood Leadership Program will soon begin accepting applications for their 2011 session. The program has tentatively confirmed guest speakers City Manager Bill Watkins and Planning and Development Director Tim Teddy for the 2011 session.

Participants are expected to attend all seven training meetings. The meetings are 6 to 8:30 p.m. on Feb. 1, Feb. 8, Feb. 15, Feb. 22, March 1, March 8 and March 15 in the Walton Building.

The 2011 application should be available in early October and will be posted here as soon as possible. For more information on the program and its requirements visit the city’s website.

All committee planning meetings are open to the public. The next one is scheduled for 4 p.m. on Nov. 30 in Meeting Room 1A of City Hall.
