Looking to get involved in your neighborhood?

In October and November, the Office of Neighborhood Services and MU Extension-Boone County will  hold four workshops to let people get involved in their neighborhood and build neighborhood associations.

The tentative dates are:

  • Oct. 6, 7 to 9 p.m. at the Activities and Recreation Center, 1701 W. Ash St.
  • Oct. 20, 6 to 9 p.m. at the Walton Building, 300 S. Providence Road
  • Nov. 3, 6 to 9 p.m. at the Lenoir Community Center, 3710 Lenoir St.
  • Nov. 17, 6 to 9 p.m. at the Parkade Center, 601 Business Loop 70 West

The workshops are free and open to the public and will cover general information to get a neighborhood association up and running.
