The Office of Neighborhood Services and University Extension-Boone County will hold four sessions in October and November for residents interested in learning about or starting neighborhood associations, said Bill Cantin, neighborhood response coordinator.
City of Columbia staff will be present to answer questions as well as a panel of experienced neighborhood association members and leaders.
The first meeting will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Oct. 6 at the Activity and Recreation Center, 1701 W. Ash St. The topic will be “What is a Neighborhood Association?”
