Have a glass; save an animal

The Perlow-Stephens Gallery will be putting on a wine-tasting event for the benefit of Columbia Second Chance animal rescue organization. The event will take place on Friday, Sept. 17 at Top Ten Wines. There will be two sessions: 5 to 7 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Tickets are on sale now. A portion of ticket sales will be donated to Second Chance.

Top Ten Wines is located at 111 South 9th Street and is open Tuesday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Wednesday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. or later.

PS Gallery is located at 812 East Broadway. It is open Tuesday through Saturday from ll a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 5 p.m.
