Cyclists choose “style over speed” for Columbia’s first Cycle Chic Sunday


Cyclists prepare to turn on 9th Street during Columbia’s first Cycle Chic Sunday ride. From 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday, cyclists of all ages rode through downtown Columbia as a part of the Cycle Chic Sundays, a monthly ride where cyclists around the world choose “style over speed,” as the ride’s motto goes. These rides will take place from on the last Sunday of each month. The five-mile ride will begin and end at Flat Branch Park Gazebo. The next ride is scheduled for Sept. 26.
