Happening today: Conference on Climate Change

The Missouri Bird Conservation Initiative is hosting its annual conference Friday and Saturday. The title of the conference is “Climate Change and ‘Weather’ We Can Make a Difference for Birds.”

The keynote speaker will be Stanley A. Temple, Professor Emeritus in Conservation in the University of Wisconsin’s Department of Forest
and Wildlife Ecology.

The event starts at 5 p.m. on Friday at the Columbia Days Inn and runs till 3 p.m. on Saturday.

The conference is open to the general public, tickets will be available at the door for $35.
