Cozy up to Missouri artists at “Vital Threads” exhibit

Annie Helmericks-Louder and Pam Kanagawa-RuBert will display their textile talents Aug. 27 through Oct. 14 at the Davis Art Gallery at Stephens College. The Missouri artists’ work consists of contemporary art quilts and silk paintings. A reception will be held Aug. 27 from 4 to 6 p.m. Attendees can meet the artists. Refreshments will be offered. The event is free and open to the public.

The Davis Art Gallery is open from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday and by appointment. It is located at the intersection of Walnut and Ripley streets.
