School is out and the weather is warm! Are you kids getting antsy already? The Stephens Lake Activity Center and Columbia Parks and Recreation host a variety of events throughout the upcoming summer months.

Preschool Kickball

Family Fun Fest
Explore Outdoors
Wednesday, June 16 from 6-8 p.m.
Flat Branch Park (Fourth and Cherry/Locust)
All ages are welcome, families encouraged to come
Learn about Missouri wildlife, local parks and outdoor activities while enjoying music, art activities, bounce-houses, hands-on activities, balloon animals and face painting.

Play Dough Fun

Oak Tours
Tuesday, June 22 from 3:30 p.m.-12:30 a.m.
Kansas City Starlight Theater
$85 per person
Take a trip to see Little House on the Prairie; price includes transportation, dinner buffet, ticket, taxes and gratuity.

Fourth Friday Kids Night
Friday, June 25 from 6-9:30 p.m.
Stephens Lake Activity Center
$15 per child
Ages 4-10 (may sign up potty-trained 3-year-olds with an older sibling)

Stephens Lake Park Amphitheater Grand Opening
Saturday, June 26 at 6:30 p.m.
The Maplewood Barn Theater will be opening with performances of “The Revenge of the Space Pandas” and music from Columbia’s Community Band.

Nature Night Walk
Saturday, June 26 from 8-9:30 p.m.
Stephens Lake Activity Center
Ages 5-10 (parents are welcome!)

Jane and Woody’s Wacky World
Tuesday, June 29 from 10-11 am.
