Oakland Junior High teacher wins national award

Marsha Tyson, a physics teacher at Oakland Junior High School, has won the Presidential Award for Excellence in Mathematics and Science Teaching. Tyson is one of two teachers from Missouri to win the award, which was given out to 103 math and science teachers across the U.S.
